Cherry-Almond Oats

Fruit, Nuts, and Carbs


Ingredients

  • 3 cups of your favorite vanilla-flavored plant-based milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/3 cup coconut or turbinado (raw) sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt or salt of your choice

    Bring milk and water to a boil.

    Add the remainder of ingredients and reduce heat to medium-low.

    Simmer for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Let sit for 5 minutes to cool and thicken.

Tips

Try some great variations, such as raisins and walnuts, dried blueberries and pecans, or even dried apples, dates, and coconut. Use your imagination, the combinations are endless.
